Google Pixel 8 and 8 Pro specs have emerged!
Renowned tipster Evan Blass, known for reliable leaks in the smartphone industry, has uncovered the product page for the Pixel series on Google’s website. Here, the features of the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro models have been laid out.
Looking at the leaked product specifications, we see that the Pixel 8 model will have a 6.2-inch display, while the 8 Pro will feature a 6.7-inch screen. Both phones will support a 120Hz refresh rate.
It is evident that the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro models will be powered by the Google Tensor G3 processor. At this point, it’s possible to say that this series will offer an upgrade compared to the previous Pixel 7 series in terms of performance. The extent of this improvement will be revealed during the official presentation.
Both smartphones will feature a 10.5-megapixel front-facing camera, but there is a difference in the rear camera setup. The Google Pixel 8 will have a dual camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel main camera and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera.
The Google Pixel 8 Pro, on the other hand, will have three cameras. These will be a 50-megapixel main camera, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 48-megapixel telephoto lens capable of 5x optical zoom. Both models will also be capable of recording 4K video.
Finally, the Google Pixel 8 series will be powered by fast charging and will have an IP68 certification for water and dust resistance, as mentioned in the leaked product specifications. The Google Pixel 8 series will take the stage at an event in New York City on October 4th and will be released to the market afterward.
